Pam Kelley has won numerous journalism awards, including honors from the National Press Club and Society for Features ournalism. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, Bloomberg City Lab and The Assembly, where she recently authored “The College That
Refused to Die” about St. Andrews University’s desperate efforts to survive. Her book, Money Rock: A Family’s Story of Cocaine, Race, and Ambition in the New South, was a 2023 North Carolina Reads selection. She has an MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College.
