For more than forty five years Emi Miller has dedicated her life to seeking wisdom from many of the religious and spiritual traditions of the world. She brings the depth of her journey into her interfaith writings on peace. Emi has a world-wide following of her poetry and prose on four websites that she has daily hosted for 17 years. Her writing has been widely published in various journals and magazines. During this time she has developed and led Interfaith Peace Circles, meditation, sound and breath-work seminars, and healing prayer classes throughout the United States. She also has studied for 15 years with a Japanese Master Acupuncturist who taught a form of body work called Te-A-Te Handwork, as well as healing with breath and sound. Emi has had a private practice in Integrative Holistic Medicine, specializing in Environmental Illness for thirty two years. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist, NCCAOM Certified, Asian Bodywork Therapist. She was appointed by the Governor of the State of Idaho to develop and chair the first State Board of Acupuncture after working on the passage of this law for eight years. She is a Registered Nurse, a nationally Certified Holistic Nurse, with a specialty in midwifery. She is founder and past president of the Idaho Holistic Nurse Association; past president of the Idaho Pastoral Care Association, and an Interfaith, Stephen Minister.
