Kerry’s life-long love of words began the first time she picked up a fat, wooden, No. 2 pencil in kindergarten and traced the letters O A K beneath the black outline of a leaf. Her opinions and musings have appeared in the Kansas City Star, 435 South Magazine and West Hartford Magazine, as well as on the backs of more envelopes and cocktail napkins than she cares to admit. She holds a B.A. in Professional Writing from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. She’s married to a man and two poodles, and splits her time between South Charlotte and central Ohio where her children and grandson live.
