Elizabeth Ouzts is an escapee from the world of corporate finance and data analysis who is now working as the “chief get it done officer” at a concierge medical practice in Charlotte while taking time to hone her skills as a poet, artist, and photographer. Her first book of poetry “Was” was published in June 2022 by Read or Green Books and she’s working on new pieces in anticipation of another collection.

A volunteer for social justice, advocate for ending period poverty, and avid data geek, Elizabeth lives and works in Charlotte, NC, with her husband, teenager, and 2 nutty cats. When she’s not working, writing or painting, Elizabeth can be found reading, gardening, or sitting on her back porch.
