Ally Brown

Ally Brown grew up reading as many books as she could. Writing was always a passion, whether for herself or to help others. Although she won her first local writing award at age ten and has always been drawn to creative outlets, the world’s mysteries, and exploring the complexities and whys of human behavior, life took her on a different path.

Ally earned a B.S. in Nursing from Salem State College (now Salem State University) in Salem, MA, and was a trail-blazing leader and coach in the medical industry for over 30 years. In the middle of this, life knocked her down, and her path choices became sink or swim. So began an emotional roller coaster of a journey as she delved into facts, reality, and who she was. She dug into psychology, emotional intelligence, enneagram, the law of attraction, mindfulness, confidence building, psychological first aid, and more. For years, obtaining a boatload of certifications and knowledge.

What started in 2010 with just a feeling and a thought . . . to stop bad things from happening to good people has turned into so much more. Today, Ally frequently describes herself as a Certified Professional Coach with a Ph.D. from the School of Hard Knocks on a mission to liberate women from wearing masks, not feeling good enough,
and living life stories defined by someone else. By sharing stories. By coaching.  By writing. By advising. By creating a community of high

achievers who can confidently live fulfilled and enjoy all that life has to offer, Ally is honored to be able to make a positive impact on the world in a meaningful, relatable, and thought-provoking way.

Her blog, The Whine Bar, provides self-care with a twist, with inspirational quotes, what advice an animal would give you if they could talk, and everything in between. The result? Perhaps getting through life together, stirred, not shaken – embracing challenges, unleashing potential, and living a successful and fulfilling life today and bettering future generations.
