Rebecca discovered the pleasure of writing as a creative outlet when she decided to stay at home with her and her husband’s first child. Now, when she’s not feeding ducks at the park or dancing in the kitchen with their little one, she dabbles in writing freelance articles, fiction, essays, and children’s books, and maintaining her blog at rebeccarvincent.com.
Previously, Rebecca worked in international education for five years with the World Affairs Council of Charlotte and the Office of International Programs at UNC Charlotte. In addition, she developed and taught two courses on international conflict for the International Studies program at the university. During that time she honed her writing skills through grants, award-applications, newsletter articles and edits, press releases, and strategic documents.
Rebecca earned her B.A. from High Point University in International Studies and Modern Foreign Languages and her M.S. from George Mason University in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She has also completed a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University.
